Workshop on Application Description and Programming Models for LEGaTO

The LEGaTO partners gather in Switzerland for a 2-day workshop on Application Description and Programming Models. This represents the second technical F2F meeting after the kick off meeting held in Barcelona past December, in which the project was officially launched.

The main goal of the meeting is to exchange information about application characteristics (progamming models used, techniques applied for parallelization, complexity, use of external libraries, initial performance analysis, scalability) and also about the programming Models available (OmpSs, Maxeler, DFiant, and Xi-Tao) and its characteristics, availability, heterogeneity support amongst other issues.

The event ends with a session focused on detailing the first year steps.
