Double or Nothing: LEGaTO will have two booths at ISC

Next week, LEGaTO representatives will attend ISC 2018 to present the LEGaTO project to exhibition visitors. ISC High Performance is the largest high performance computing (HPC) community forum in Europe, and it is dedicated to tackling HPC technological development and its application in scientific fields, as well as its adoption in commercial environments. As a major HPC event, the ISC exhibition attracts the top players with a stake in high performance computing. This includes academia such as research institutions and European research projects, as well as industry.

In its first year of the project, LEGaTO will be at this major HPC event, sharing a booth together with M2DC (D-1151) for the whole conference (25-27 June) and sharing HiPEAC’s booth (A-1411) with the EuroLab-4HPC project on the first day.

On Monday 25 June, from 3 to 8pm, LEGaTO will present a poster at HiPEAC’s booth (A-1411) and visitors will have the opportunity to find out more about the project.  Don’t miss the talk on LEGaTO by Miquel Pericàs (Chalmers University) at 16:30.

Visitors will also have the chance to participate in HiPEAC’s project quiz and win an Arm-based BB-8 droid! Taking part is simple: visitors have to collect a copy of the quiz from the HiPEAC booth, visit the booth every day to talk to project representatives and find out the answer to the questions, and return the quiz by 17:00 on Wednesday 25 June at the latest. In the case of LEGaTO, the answer is easy (hint: have a look at about).

In addition to the slot at HiPEAC’s booth, LEGaTO will be sharing a booth with M2DC (D-1151) for the the full duration of the conference.

The objective of LEGaTO’s participation in this event is to get to know the latest innovations in HPC, disseminate the project to main stakeholders and to create synergies with similar projects.

We look forward to seeing you there!
